Begin your journey to conquer Mount Denali, ascending its 20,000-foot peak by accumulating 150 minutes of exercise each week. For every 150 minutes completed, you gain an elevation of 5,000 feet. Remember to track your exercise minutes at the Fitness Desk, and as you reach each 5,000-foot milestone, you’ll ascend to a new camp on the mountain.
Activities to reach 150 minutes each week:
1. Move Virtual Fitness Classes: Log into the center app, select the Reach the Peak Challenge tile on the Move page, and explore a wide range of at-home workouts, including meditation and yoga. Every minute counts! Click here for instructions on how to sign up for Move.
2. On-site Fitness Activities: Check in at the center and enjoy group fitness classes, swimming, working out at your own pace on the fitness floor, or personalized workouts with Volt Guided Fitness.
3. Outdoor Activities: Connect with nature while progressing toward your exercise goal with outdoor activities like walking, running, cycling, or hiking.
BONUS BOOST: Participate in on-demand Move virtual fitness classes and receive double workout minutes toward your weekly goal, giving you an extra boost in your progress.
